Luka Bar and Budućnost Reach the Final of the EPCG Women’s Volleyball Super League
The volleyball teams of Luka Bar and Budućnost Volley are set to clash on Sunday at 4 PM at the Sports Center “Topolica” in Bar, in a pivotal match of the EPCG Super League semi-finals.
Both clubs have delivered an exciting experience for volleyball enthusiasts in Montenegro. Vladimir Milačić’s squad claimed victory in the first match on their home ground with a decisive score, while coach Luka Bogojević’s team fought back to secure a thrilling 3:2 win in a rematch in Podgorica, leveling the series and determining who advances to the final.
Teodora Čavić, one of Luka Bar’s top scorers, emphasizes the significance of the match ahead.
“We are gearing up for a very tough match, likely the most crucial one this season. The Budućnost team has proven their quality and determination, achieving a well-deserved victory in Podgorica. I anticipate a real spectacle for all volleyball fans. I believe in my team’s abilities, and I’m hopeful that we will celebrate reaching the finals in the end,” stated Čavić.
Captain of Budućnost, Mileva Magdelinić, highlights her team’s motivation heading into Bar.
“We face an extremely important and challenging match on Sunday. Making it to the final would be a significant achievement for us. It’s clear that the match will be very tough, and we need to stay completely focused. Our entire team is driven to perform at their best, and I hope we can secure a spot in the final,” Magdelinić said.
The defending champions, Herceg Novi, have already cemented their place in the finals, having convincingly triumphed over Albatros in both semi-final encounters.
