“Local Elections Commence in Budva: Polls Open at 7 AM – Latest Update”
Local elections are taking place today in Budva, featuring eight electoral lists. All 28 polling stations in Budva Municipality opened their doors this morning at 07:00, as confirmed by the President of the Municipal Election Commission, Djordje Vujović.
A total of 19,183 voters have the right to cast their votes, which can be done until 8 p.m.
Elections for councilors in the Municipal Assembly (SO) of Budva were initially held on May 26. After the SO was not formed within 60 days following the final results, new elections were scheduled for November 17.
The leader of the Coalition List “for the future of Budva – Budva must move forward” is Mladen Mikijelj, while Dragana Kažanegra Stanisic heads the Democrats list – “even stronger”. Nikola Milović represents the DPS list “for Budva – Heart and Knowledge”.
This marks the second time Budva goes to the polls this year and the third time in the past two years.
