The discussions focused on enhancing Euro-Atlantic solidarity and unity, particularly stressing the need for increased defense spending as a vital strategy for maintaining peace in Europe and North America over the past 76 years.

The situation in Ukraine was also a topic of conversation, with allies reaffirming their commitment to seeking a solution that would foster a fair and lasting peace, alongside long-term security guarantees from Europe and the USA.

In light of global security challenges, discussions included partners from the Indo-Pacific region, exploring avenues to bolster cooperation with the Southern Neighborhood, which will be further enhanced by the establishment of a NATO office in Amman.

Minister Ibrahimović underscored Montenegro’s robust commitment to shared values and initiatives, emphasizing the significance of safeguarding the security of the Western Balkans, a region of strategic importance to the Alliance.
