The persistent rainfall over the past few days has caused widespread flooding across Banja Luka, leaving many streets and sidewalks submerged and impeding movement.

Many garages in the city have been inundated, with the most severe impact felt in the Lazarevo area, where homes have been completely “surrounded” by water, and in the Dragočaj and Priječani neighborhoods, which have left nine households isolated.

Traffic on the Trn Bridge in the Laktaši region has been halted due to increasing water levels in the Vrbas River.

A state of emergency has been declared in Gradiška as the Sava River and its tributaries experienced a sudden surge, leading to flooding in several areas of the Kozar River basin.

As a result, classes in some schools within the Gradiška area have been canceled today.

Residents in Teslić are facing challenges due to heavy rains and swollen Velika and Mala Usora rivers, leading to the suspension of classes in schools.

Traffic on the Teslić-Doboj and Modriča-Doboj roads has been suspended due to water overflows and landslides.

In the Federation of BiH, the most critical situation is in the Sanski Most region, where a state of natural disaster has been declared.

This morning at 7:00, the water level of the Sana River measured 198 centimeters, up from 135 centimeters the same time yesterday.

In Bosanska Krupa, overflow from the Krušnica River and several streams has resulted in the flooding of agricultural land and utility structures.
