Several Montenegrin volleyball players enjoyed a successful weekend, particularly Vojin Ćaćić, who clinched the Ukrainian championship title with his team, Epicentr. Đorđe Jovović and Jovan Delić performed admirably as scorers, while Matija Ćinćur contributed to Alpacema’s journey to the finals of the Slovenian championship, marking their first appearance in nine years.

The Ukrainian Epicentr concluded the season unbeaten, securing the national championship title. In the playoff finals, Vojin Ćaćić’s squad triumphed over Žitči in a best-of-three matches. The former Montenegrin captain amassed 10 and 13 points in the first two matches, while in the deciding match, which went to five sets, he only participated in the third set.

In the Romanian league, Craiova celebrated a successful finish, securing third place. In their second match against Zalau, which they won 3:0, Montenegrin point guard Bojan Strugar scored 19 points and was among the standout performers, boasting an impressive 75% success rate in attacks.

Alpacem Kanal celebrated a significant milestone by reaching the Slovenian championship finals for the first time in nine years, defeating Kalcit Kamnik 3:1 in the playoff semifinals. In this crucial victory against a strong opponent, our middle blocker Matija Ćinćur contributed six points. In the title decider, Alpacem will face ACH Ljubljana, the best team in Slovenia.

Mladost, hailing from Zagreb and featuring our national team players Đorđe Jovović and Nikola Đurović, also made it to the finals. The Zagreb club overcame Centrometal with a scoreline of 3:1, with our corrector scoring an impressive 20 points, while the young middle blocker did not contribute to the scoreboard. Mladost’s adversaries in the final series will be Mursa, who eliminated Vukašin Cimbaljević’s team, Ribola Kaštela, by winning 3:0 in the semifinals. In the second matchup of the series, Cimbaljević secured six points.

In the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the final series has commenced. Domaljevac was narrowly edged out by the home team Napredak, with a final score of 3:2, despite an outstanding performance by our volleyball player Jovan Delić, who scored 26 points.

Czech Usti managed to maintain their position in the top tier of Czech volleyball after a challenging league season. The squad, featuring Blaž Milić and Nemanja Peruničić, triumphed over Dobričovice in the third playoff match, dropping just one set. Peruničić contributed three points, while Milić did not participate in the season’s final match.

Crvena zvezda, under the guidance of Montenegrin coach Ivica Jevtić, faced defeat in the semifinals of the Serbian Super League against Vojvodina. They lost the away match 3:2 (25:20, 23:25, 25:23, 25:21, 19:17), setting the stage for the regular season champions to compete in the finals against Radnički, who emerged victorious over Dubočica.

The volleyball players of Qatar Sports, led by our coach Darko Prebiracevic, were halted in the semifinals of the local Cup, suffering a narrow defeat to competition favorites Al Rayyan, with a final score of 3:2.

In the Amir Cup, Al Sad, coached by our coach Marko Joksimović, faced a setback against Al Arabi, losing 3:0, where a Montenegrin player contributed two points.
