“‘Children of War, Agents of Peace’: Bosnia’s War Childhood Museum Commemorates Anniversary”

Education plays a vital role in the museum’s mission, collaborating with more than a hundred schools and universities to aid young individuals in recognizing the effects of war.

“In Bosnia, where peace is not something to be taken for granted, learning from these experiences is crucial,” Halilovic stated. “This year, we are preparing 200 educators to continue conveying these important narratives.”

He also emphasized the importance of Milomir Kovacevic Strasni’s contributions, noting that his photographs are deeply intertwined with the history of Sarajevo. “His images not only record the war but also capture the resilience of a city and its inhabitants,” Halilovic remarked.
