The Civic Movement URA’s Herceg Novi branch has announced that it will contest the forthcoming local elections independently, slated for April 13, 2025.
As part of their preparations, they plan to submit their candidate list to the Municipal Election Commission (MEC) in Herceg Novi by 3 p.m. tomorrow.
Nikola Radman, the president of the Municipal Board of URA Herceg Novi, will lead their candidate list, and their campaign slogan is ‘Different’.
The Herceg Novi ERO has also stated that the slogan ‘Different’ effectively highlights their stance in regard to their political rivals.
“We entered politics with the aim of fostering positive change in our city and country through our dedication and effort. Our struggle over the decades was not merely to swap one regime for another while keeping the same practices. We didn’t fight to simply replace individuals in public office who would only view it as a means for personal gain. That is why we consider ourselves distinct from others. Herceg Novi and Montenegro certainly require a much higher number of honest, responsible, and brave individuals in public office who are prepared to drive meaningful change and work solely in the public’s interest,” stated the Herceg Novi URE.
