“Restoring Nikšić as Montenegro’s Economic and Commercial Hub”

“After years of empty rhetoric, Nikšić has seen a significant decline in its youth population. Corruption, division, and incompetence have forced many young people to leave this city, depriving it of its future. Therefore, voting for the ‘Zdrav Nikšić’ list represents a choice for new leadership that aims to restore this city’s status as Montenegro’s economic and business hub,” stated Ivan Pejović, a candidate for councilor on the ‘Zdrav Nikšić – Dr. Zoran Mrkić – Europe Now!’ list.
He emphasized that the current conditions, including abandoned factories, large-scale emigration, declining birth rates, high unemployment, and rampant corruption, are direct consequences of government failures over recent decades.
“Nikšić needs job opportunities. We must establish an environment where young individuals can launch their businesses and start families here, rather than being compelled to leave our city,” Pejović asserted.
The ‘Zdrav Nikšić’ candidate remarked that regardless of what various political groups might claim, the statistics regarding Nikšić speak for themselves.
“Years of neglect and the lack of actionable policies have caused Montenegro’s former industrial and educational epicenter to lose 12 residents every 5.708 years,” he noted.
Pejović urged all citizens of Nikšić, particularly those who abstain from voting due to disillusionment with empty assurances, to participate in the elections and back the ‘Zdrav Nikšić’ list.
“If we continue to choose the same political options year after year and only descend further into these issues, then this time the answer cannot lie within those choices! It’s time for bold actions; it’s time for change! Time for a thriving Nikšić!” Pejović concluded.
