A significant achievement for David Mirković – the Montenegrin basketball player has received an invitation to the esteemed “Nike Hoop Summit” event, scheduled to take place in Portland on April 12th.

The highlight of the event in Portland will be the matchup between “Team USA” and “Team World.”

The “Nike Hoop Summit” has been held annually since 1995, featuring many top talents from around the globe.

Montenegro was previously represented by Nikola Ivanovic in 2013, and Dino Radoncic received an invitation in 2018 but could not attend due to commitments with Real Madrid.

Mirković is set to travel to Portland on April 5th.

“I am filled with pride and happiness. It’s a privilege to be among the best young basketball talents worldwide and to be a part of this incredible event. I’m grateful to my family, all my teammates, and coaches, as I’ve grown and improved with their support,” stated Mirković.

At just 19 years old, Mirković plays for the SC Derby first team and has averaged 8.8 points and 6.7 rebounds this season in the AdmiralBet ABA League.

In February, he made his debut for the senior Montenegrin national team during the EuroBasket qualifiers against Sweden.
