Marušić’s Goal Unable to Avert Lazio’s Loss to Fiorentina

Fiorentina achieved victory in Rome, claiming all three points from Lazio with a score of 2:1 in the 22nd round of Serie A.
Yassin Adli scored on an assist from Gosens in the 11th minute, followed by Beltran’s goal on a pass from Dodo just six minutes later, giving the “purples” a commanding lead at the Olimpico.
Lazio improved their performance in the second half, but failed to create any significant scoring opportunities. The standout player for them was Montenegrin international Adam Marušić, who netted a goal in stoppage time.
Just three minutes later, Marušić attempted another goal, but David de Gea showcased his skills and secured the win for Fiorentina, marking their 36th point and placing them in sixth.
Lazio stands at 39 points, holding the fourth spot in the Serie A table.
