CBCG Cautions Against Fraudulent Online Loan Offers
The Central Bank (CBG) has issued a warning regarding the spread of misleading information and offers related to online loans in Montenegro, which allegedly stem from a cooperation agreement between Loan Link and the CBCG.
The CBC clarified that Loan Link has not been granted a permit to operate in the microcredit sector, as reported by MINA.

“These institutions possess a CBG license, operate in compliance with Montenegro’s laws, and are subject to regular oversight by CBM, ensuring the protection of financial resources and the safeguarding of recognized rights,” the announcement stated.
