Eco-Recycling Machine Donated to High School in Herceg Novi
The microcredit financial organization Alter Modus has contributed an eco-recycling machine to the “Ivan Goran Kovačić” Secondary Mixed School (SMŠ) in Herceg Novi, as announced by the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MPNI).
The Ministry highlighted that the primary aim of this donation is to enhance environmental awareness among the youth.
Education, Science, and Innovation Minister Andjela Jakšić Stojanović expressed her satisfaction that socially responsible companies and institutions in Montenegro acknowledge the significance of investing in education.
She encouraged all other companies in Montenegro to adopt this model.
Željka Obradović, Director of Human Resources and Communications at Alter Modus, noted that the initiative to donate the recycling machine aims to inspire high school students in Herceg Novi to responsibly engage with the environment.
“Moreover, this donation will aid in the education of future generations who will proactively focus on recycling and conserving our planet,” the statement added.
Ljiljana Karanović, the director of the Ivan Goran Kovačić Secondary School, expressed gratitude for the donation.
“Introducing recycling stations in educational facilities is a commendable initiative that plays a pivotal role in educating young people about the significance of recycling and conserving natural resources,” the statement mentioned.
Such initiatives are said to assist students in cultivating environmental awareness and actively participating in promoting a sustainable lifestyle.
“This marks the beginning of a fruitful collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Culture and the microcredit financial institution Alter Modus, with expectations for the implementation of additional projects on similar subjects in the future,” the statement concluded.
