Three members of the Novi Sad board of the Movement of Free Citizens—Mladen Cvijetić, Srđan Đurić, and Lado Jovović—have been placed in police custody for a maximum of 48 hours, confirmed their lawyer, Vladimir Horovic, to the media.

According to Horovic, they declined to make statements to the police as their legal counsel was not permitted to meet with them beforehand.

They are scheduled to be interrogated by the prosecutor within the next 48 hours, and the lawyers anticipate having the opportunity to communicate with their clients during this period.

“Tonight’s continuation of the investigation will involve searching their residences, where their defense lawyers will also be present,” Horovic stated.

Today, the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs, alongside the Crime Suppression Service and the Anti-Terrorism Service, arrested six individuals following orders from the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Novi Sad. They are suspected of preparing an act against Serbia’s constitutional order and security, related to inciting a violent change in the constitutional framework.

Those detained earlier today include LD (24), affiliated with the student group “Stav,” DS (25), and MV (50), both of whom are part of the Movement of Free Citizens, as reported by N1.

A recording aired by regime-affiliated media last night purportedly features a group discussing potential raids on the Serbian Parliament and Radio Television of Serbia.

The PSG has distanced itself from the recording, emphasizing that the individuals involved were illegally wiretapped and asserting that it constituted a private conversation rather than a plan for violent protests.
