The bidding process for beach leases along the Budva Riviera commenced with astonishing offers from prospective tenants, far exceeding the minimum starting lease prices set by the Public Company for Coastal Zone Management in their tender for 89 beaches in this prime tourism destination.

A reporter from “Vijesti” was present at the bid opening for segments of the Petrovac Riviera, where the bids soared to dizzying amounts, some reaching into the millions. The event took place in three offices within the Construction Institute, adjacent to the Morski dobro administrative building, with private security on site and police inspectors monitoring the lobby.

For a 62-meter stretch of the city beach in Petrovac, identified as code 25A, which had a starting price of 3,291 euros, five bids were submitted: Dregos proposed 25,800 euros excluding VAT, NN offered 35,000 euros, GD 61,000 euros, Mian DOO 3,300 euros, while DB made a staggering bid of 800,000 euros.

For the adjacent segment of the 110-meter Petrovac beach, with a minimum seasonal lease price of 7,609 euros, three bids were received: NA 7,700 euros, MB 18,000 euros, and M.Š. presented an astounding bid of 800,000 euros.

Regarding the 73-meter section of Petrovac’s beach labeled 25E, which had a minimum seasonal rental price of 7,992 euros, four proposals were made: RV at 45,000 euros, AS at 950,000 euros, JZ at 30,000 euros, and VM at 8,000 euros.

The most noteworthy opening was for the widely popular Ponta beach, which spans 39 meters and has a minimum lease price of 20,957 euros. Three bids were made: Žuti zec DOO at 89,002 euros, Neimar investment construction DOO Bar at 30 million euros, and Ponta DOO Petrovac at a remarkable figure.

Finally, for the lease of Lučice beach near Petrovac, a 215-meter stretch with a minimum seasonal lease price of 44,570 euros, four offers were received: Profart from Podgorica at 200,002 euros, Life Style Development from Tivat at 153,200 euros, Pešter Co at 45,000 euros, and SP at 1 million euros.
