The Galija Mondenska restaurant and beach bar, located on the red heads near Sveti Stefan in Montenegro, suffered significant damage due to falling rocks from the hillside above the beach.

This morning, the tenant arrived to begin repairs on the destroyed roof and damaged inventory, while one of the rocks remained precariously positioned atop part of the beach bar, as reported by News.

This issue recurs annually due to the unstable nature of the hillside above this secluded beach. The restaurant was entirely destroyed in 2019, similar to the current situation.

The lessee is prepared to commence rehabilitation efforts and construct a supporting wall urgently, as there are serious concerns that such incidents could reoccur during the summer season, posing a danger to swimmers.

Galija is known as a popular swimming destination, attracting hundreds of tourists who come to enjoy the beach during the summer months.
