Suspension Over: Paul Pogba Faces Two Pathways Ahead
Paul Pogba’s doping suspension concluded two days ago, lasting 18 months instead of the initial four years.
Now, the French midfielder is looking to rediscover his passion for football. He aims to secure a club by the end of the month, although it’s evident that he won’t be playing in Europe this season.
Due to current regulations, new player registrations in European leagues are no longer permitted, leaving the former Juventus and Manchester United star with two potential destinations: the United States or Saudi Arabia.
Recently, there have been rumors that Pogba might continue his career with Inter Miami, potentially joining a squad that features Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba, among others.
Pogba has a close relationship with one of the owners, David Beckham, which could play a significant role in facilitating this move. However, a switch to Saudi Arabia is also a strong possibility.
A transfer to the Middle East would undoubtedly offer greater financial incentives for the 31-year-old midfielder, with Al Ittihad reportedly showing interest—Pogba’s friends Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante are already there.
Pogba’s last appearance for Juventus was in September 2023, playing away against Empoli.
