Last night, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković underwent a surgical procedure at a Zagreb hospital due to heart issues. The operation was pre-planned and was completed without any complications, as reported by the Croatian Government this morning.

“We wish to inform you that the Prime Minister received treatment yesterday evening at the Clinic for Cardiovascular Diseases at the Zagreb Clinical Hospital Center for Cardiology for a transient benign cardiac rhythm disturbance,” stated the announcement from the Hina news agency.

The statement further mentions that the surgery was part of a prior plan and proceeded without any issues.

According to unofficial sources, the Prime Minister is expected to be discharged from the hospital today.
