Gianluigi Donnarumma, the goalkeeper for Paris Saint-Germain, has been recognized by UEFA as the standout player of the second leg in the Champions League round of 16.

The Italian star impressively kept a clean sheet for 120 minutes at Anfield with a 0:1 score before stopping two Liverpool penalties during the shootout.

Known for his penalty shootout prowess, Donnarumma has emerged victorious in six out of seven such contests throughout his career.

In the ideal lineup for the round of 16, the defense features: Denzel Dumfries (Inter), Emre Can (Borussia), Raul Asensio (Real), and Nuno Mendes (PSG).

The midfield includes Rodrigo de Paul (Atletico), Pedri (Barcelona), Rahim Sterling (Arsenal), and Marko Asensio (Aston Villa).

In the attack, we have Maximilian Bayer (Borussia) and Harry Kane (Bayern).
