After five years, Petar Radonović has parted ways with Jadran’s water polo team, as reported by “Total water polo”.

This upcoming season, the young coach will take the helm at Greek club Apollon, having signed a one-year contract.

Radonović began his coaching journey in 2008 with Jadran’s youth teams. He later served as an assistant to Vladimir Gojković at Škver from 2012 to 2018. From 2019 onward, he took charge of the team from Herceg Novi, leading them to four championships and a Cup victory in Montenegro.

He guided the team in both the Champions League and Eurocup, although they couldn’t defend their domestic title last season, with their main rival Primorac claiming victory.

His new club concluded the season with a loss in the Greek Cup final against the formidable Olympiakos and is set to compete in the Eurocup next season.
