Ibrahimovic Eases Tensions Between Conceição and Calabria
Milan triumphed over Parma with a score of 21-3 in a thrilling Serie A match yesterday, clinching the victory during injury time. The Rossoneri found themselves down 92-2 until the 1st minute, when Reynders leveled the score, and Chukwueze completed the comeback.
However, Milan’s win was marred by incidents after the game, as a confrontation erupted between player Calabria and coach Konesia. During the post-match celebrations, Calabria threw an object, prompting Konesia to react angrily, but other players on the field intervened to break up the scuffle.
According to reports from Italian Sky, club director Zlatan Ibrahimović played a crucial role in calming the situation. Following the match, Ibrahimović entered the locker room to mediate between the player and the coach.
Ibrahimović instructed Calabria to address the media in order to help ease the tensions surrounding the incident.
He then spent half an hour with Conceição, which caused the Milan coach to arrive late for the press conference.
Following yesterday’s win, Milan has moved into seventh place with 34 points and is set to face Inter in the next round.
