“The Future Awaits: Savić Announces Fight in Germany Tomorrow”
The Buducnost handball team will compete tomorrow in Ludwigsburg against the German team sharing the same name in the tenth round of the Champions League.
The German team triumphed in their first encounter in Podgorica, winning 36:25, and they have so far achieved three victories, one draw, and five defeats in the competition.
Buducnost has one win and one draw, and they secured a victory against Vipers in the last round.
Assistant coach Maja Savić stated that Ludwigsburg is a strong team, featuring many skilled individuals.
She highlighted that the German squad has retained an almost unchanged roster over the last three seasons.
“We have developed a positive momentum, even though facing teams that are considered favorites is challenging for us. Each season, our team includes seven or eight young junior and cadet players. It can be tough, but playing well and achieving some victories brings great satisfaction. The girls are performing admirably, and I believe we deserve to earn a few more points in the upcoming matches,” expressed Savić.
The matchup in Ludwigsburg is set to begin at 2 p.m.
