Vojin Ćaćić and his Epicentar team are unmatched in the Ukrainian championship, where they will compete for a new title in April. Despite the impressive performances of our players Đorđe Jovović and Bojan Strugar towards the season’s end, they could not secure victories for their teams. Matija Ćinćur, Milutin Pavićević, and Jovan Delić are leading their teammates forward.

Vojin Ćaćić, the former captain of the Montenegrin national team, along with Epicentar, made it to the Super League play-off final. The team from Gorodok triumphed over the young Ukrainian national team in three semi-final matches, not losing a single set, with our serve receiver scoring 11, 14, and 15 points in each match. Epicentar’s opponent in the final will be the squad from Žitči.

This past week, the finals of the Croatian Cup took place, and like the volleyball team, the Mladost volleyball team had to settle for a runner-up position. Despite a 2:0 lead and an outstanding performance by Đorđe Jovović, who racked up 27 points, the Zagreb team lost their lead in the final match against Mursa. Our Nikola Đurović contributed seven points. The second-place trophy was awarded to the Mladost players by the president of OSCG, Nikola Kažić.

In the Croatian championship, Ribola Kaštela defeated Centrometal 3:0, with our Vukašin Cimbaljević participating only in the initial set. The Dalmatian team confirmed their second-place standing in the rankings and directly qualified for the semi-finals of the playoffs, alongside the Mladost team, who will conclude the league segment of the championship with an away match against Rijeka tomorrow. Meanwhile, Marsoni, led by our Srđan Petrović, is set to face Mursa to wrap up the regular season of the Super League.

Another remarkable scoring display came from corrector Bojan Strugar. Our national team player scored 21 points in the final match of Craiova’s season; however, his exceptional performance couldn’t secure a victory in the semi-final of the Romanian championship play-off. Craiova was defeated by Corona Brasov 3:1 and, having won two sets in the doubles match, fell short of reaching the final.

Aplacem Kanal advanced to the semi-finals after clinching a victory over Panvita in the opening match of the Slovenian championship playoffs. Matija Ćinćur’s team breezed through the first match with a perfect score, and our middle blocker concluded the game with six points.

The Serbian Super League regular season wrapped up with the 22nd round, featuring matches between rivals who will also clash in the playoff quarter-finals. Milutin Pavićević delivered an outstanding performance, leading Karađorđe to victory over Dubočica in Leskovac with 15 points, securing fifth place. This outcome means the Topola team will visit their opponent in the opening game of the playoffs in a best-of-three series.

Also among the top eight is Crvena zvezda, guided by our coach Ivica Jevtić, following a 3:1 win over Partizan in the eternal derby. The “red and white” team secured third place in the standings, garnering home-court advantage for the quarter-finals.

The team from Domaljevac, Međik Ajsa, has made it to the semi-finals of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina after defeating Ljubinje in the second leg of the semi-finals, with Jovan Delić delivering an outstanding performance. With 15 points from our serve receiver, the Domaljevac team has set up a semi-final match against Modric.
