The U18 team faced a defeat against Serbia in the semi-finals (13:9), and will now compete for the bronze medal against Italy (tonight at 11:00 PM).

After 16 minutes of play, the score was 8:2 in favor of Serbia, but Montenegro fought hard to create tension in the first semi-final encounter, and they weren’t far from doing so…
In the third quarter, our team closed the gap to 9:5, although they missed a crucial five-meter shot. At the start of the final quarter, Strahinja Gojković scored, narrowing the deficit to three goals.
Montenegro had one last chance to turn the game around with six minutes and 20 seconds left, but they failed to convert on an attack with an extra player while trailing 9:6…
Gojković was the standout scorer for the Sharks with six goals, while Janović added two, and Ivan Marković netted one.
