Alternative Montenegro has urged citizens to boycott all markets across the country on March 11th and 14th.

In a Facebook post, Alternative expressed pride in their fellow citizens for collectively making history through acts of civic courage and solidarity.

“Our unified resolve conveys a powerful message that the people will not stay silent any longer,” stated Alternative.

They emphasized that a less stocked basket at the markets symbolizes a vote for a fairer society, customer respect, and a brighter future.

“Those who believed we would relent have now learned that the people of Montenegro are awake and cannot be silenced any more! Yet, we are not stopping here; on Tuesday, March 11th, and Friday, March 14th, we will take an even bolder step with a comprehensive boycott of all markets in Montenegro,” stated Alternative.

They noted that every closed checkout and empty aisle will serve as a reminder that citizens recognize their strength and refuse to tolerate injustice.

“Let us remain steadfast and united, for only together can we effect change! We have demonstrated our voice and bravery; now it’s time to amplify it further. The true strength of the people lies not in words but in actions. And you, the citizens of Montenegro, are already proving that together we can achieve anything,” concluded Alternative.
