Police Confiscate Toyota from Turkish National Amidst Suspicions of Chassis Number Tampering

Recently, the police in Podgorica confiscated a Toyota CHR Hybrid with Montenegrin license plates from a Turkish national identified as SD. This vehicle is currently being sought by Interpol in France, as reported by the Police Directorate today.
According to the statement, there are suspicions that the chassis number on the vehicle has been altered.
“Ongoing investigations are being conducted regarding the vehicle, following the directive of the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica,” the Police Directorate mentioned in their announcement.
