The semi-final matchups for the EPCG Super League playoffs have been finalized following the conclusion of the second leg of the play-in series. Herceg Novi is set to take on Albatros, while Luka Bar will go up against Buducnost. Both the Podgorica and Novi teams secured their places in the semi-finals by winning their respective play-in matches, each with two victories. Buducnost and Albatros ensured their progression with decisive 3:0 home wins after four-set matches.

Under Luka Bogojević’s guidance, the team triumphed over Budva with a score of 3:0 (25:22, 25:22, 25:15), paving the way for their playoff encounters with Luka Bar. The matches in Podgorica showcased two closely contested opening sets before Buducnost concluded the doubleheader in dominant fashion, winning the final set 25:15. Every player from the Podgorica squad contributed to the scoreboard, with Lana Rakočević leading the team with nine points, while captain Mileva Magdelinić followed closely with eight. For Budva, Vanja Matunović shone with 13 points, and Đina Lekić added 11. Buducnost will face Luka Bar in a best-of-three series, while Budva has concluded its inaugural season among Montenegro’s elite clubs.

In a similarly commanding display, Albatros defeated Morača, another representative from Podgorica, with a convincing 3:0 victory (25:19, 25:17, 25:23). They are set to face Herceg Novi for at least two additional matches, having already met four times across all competitions this season. Branka Obradović’s team showcased strong performance, especially from middle blocker Viktorija Položevec, who contributed as a double-digit scorer. Both Marija Tuševljak, Aleksandra Vučković, and Karolina Pidhurska made significant contributions with nine points each. On the other side, Anastasija Koprivica from Morača netted 11 points.

The semi-final series is scheduled to commence on April 5th, featuring a best-of-two format, with the initial games being hosted by Herceg Novi and Luka Bar.
