Podgorica resident suspected of stealing painting worth around 5.000 euros, convicted 14 times

Podgorica Resident, Previously Convicted 14 Times, Suspected of Stealing €5,000 Painting

Following a session at the Podgorica Basic State Prosecutor’s Office (ODT), a custody order was issued for the individual from Podgorica for a maximum of 72 hours due to strong suspicion of theft.

The prosecutor’s office indicated that the suspect has a criminal record with 14 prior convictions for property crimes.

“The accused took an artwork valued at approximately 5,000 euros from the residence of the victim, MT. This individual has a history of 14 convictions, primarily related to property offenses,” stated ODT Podgorica.
