The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) has issued a new summons for questioning to Milorad Dodik, the President of Republika Srpska (RS). This comes amid suspicions of his involvement in the criminal offense of “attack on the constitutional order,” as reported by the Sarajevo-based portal, Raport.

Dodik is expected to appear at the BiH Prosecutor’s Office in Sarajevo tomorrow.

Previously, he did not respond to two requests from the state prosecutor’s office, claiming he had not received them.

Initially, Dodik was scheduled to report to the BiH Prosecutor’s Office on Friday, March 7, and then again on Monday, March 11.

If Dodik declines this latest invitation to provide a statement, authorities may order his detention. Should he evade this as well, the Prosecutor’s Office could petition the BiH Court for his detention and issue an arrest warrant.

Additionally, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, received a summons to the BiH Prosecutor’s Office today, also under suspicion of undermining the constitutional order of BiH.

Alongside Dodik and Stevandić, the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković, is also suspected of the same criminal offense concerning their initiative to adopt and promote legislation prohibiting the operations of the Court and Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH (HJPC), and the BiH Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA).
