Students at the “Miloje Dobrašinović” Gymnasium have excelled in a recent state competition across various subjects, according to the school’s announcement.

Jovana Bugarin, a third-grade student, placed first in Russian, while her peer Jovana Knežević secured second place.

Irma Vesković, another talented student from the school, also demonstrated excellent proficiency in English.

According to Bijelo Polje High School, these accomplishments reflect the institution’s tradition of fostering exceptional performance in academics.

First-place winner Jovana Bugarin remarked that participating in the competition was a dream come true for her.

“Being recognized as one of the best in the country for the Russian language competition is an unforgettable experience. The competition was fierce, but with diligence and the encouragement of my professors, I was able to achieve this remarkable outcome. I studied extensively for months, and this recognition is the result of all my hard work. I am grateful to my mentor Nataša Aničić and all my professors who guided me on this journey,” Jovana stated.

Jovana Knežević expressed her happiness about her achievements as well.

“Winning second place is a significant honor for me. It wasn’t an easy path, but I had confidence in my abilities. I extend my gratitude to my mentor Bojana Bošković and all the professors who had faith in my potential,” Knežević shared.

For Irma Vesković, who finished third in English, this accolade serves as a catalyst for her educational journey.

“My passion for English was reaffirmed through this competition, which provided me with invaluable growth opportunities. The preparation was intense, but the experience was worthwhile. I’ve gained a better understanding of myself thanks to continuous support from my mentor, Selma Martinović, along with my parents, teachers, and friends, who always encouraged me,” Irma added.

The school expressed pride in the overall performance of its students at the state competition.

Majra Kasumović secured second place in mathematics, while Hana Pućurica achieved third in history, affirming the students’ readiness to tackle future challenges.

Jasminka Međedović, principal of the Miloje Dobrašinović High School, expressed her satisfaction with her students’ achievements.

“I take great pride in our students’ remarkable accomplishments. These results illustrate that our school offers a high standard of education and nurtures young talents who will inspire future generations,” concluded Principal Međedović.
