Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated that he had a “friendly discussion” with Donald Trump Jr., the son of the US President, in Belgrade today regarding “bilateral relations between Serbia and the United States and current issues affecting the global political and economic landscape.”
“I highlighted the significance of the economic and political ties between Serbia and the US and reinforced the need for strategic collaboration between our nations, alongside joint projects in the years to come. This meeting represents our dedication to enhancing bilateral relations and collaborating on global challenges,” Vučić mentioned on Instagram.
Reports indicate that Trump Jr. has returned to Belgrade for his second trip to Serbia within six months. His previous visit was during his father’s presidential campaign, in late September of last year.
Prior to meeting with the president’s son, Vučić shared on Instagram that he intended to discuss economic matters and “new significant challenges, but also future successes.”
