Last weekend, Danijela Džaković stood out as the most effective Montenegrin player abroad, continuing her streak as the top performer for her team in the Azerbaijan championship. In the Serbian Super League, our young athletes faced off, with Staša Mitrović celebrating alongside coach Caković. A significant victory was secured by Sporting with Saška Đurović and Banja Luka’s Teodora Rakočević.

Mili Aviazija and Danijela Džaković continued their impressive performances. Džaković was once again the standout player in the Azerbaijan Championship, leading her team to a convincing 3:0 victory over UNEC, contributing 15 points in the match.

Sporting, represented by Saška Đurović, continues to dominate their championship. The middle blocker added eight points to help secure a 3:0 win against Fiaes in the first playoff quarterfinal, with the second match set for Sunday.

As the French championship approaches its conclusion, Bordeaux and Katarina Budrak face one last chance to clinch a playoff spot after suffering a 3:0 defeat to Nancy. The Montenegrin national team player garnered five points in that game, putting Bordeaux’s playoff aspirations on the line against the leading team, Paris Levallois. They currently share the same win-loss record (12 wins and 13 losses) as TFOC, who will play against the fourth-placed Vondevre for their final match.

The Serbian championship is heading into an exciting finish, highlighted by Jedinstvo from Stara Pazova. The team, coached by Montenegrin women’s national team head coach Jovo Caković, has clinched seven wins and is just one victory shy of the fourth-placed Red Star. The defending champions recorded their 14th win of the season against last-placed Omladinac with a score of 3:0, featuring two young Montenegrin players. Staša Mitrović achieved six points for Jedinstvo, while Darja Popović tallied 11 for Omladinac. Mitrović also excelled at the cadet level, earning recognition as the best middle blocker after Jedinstvo’s cadet team fell to Omladinac 3:0 in the final.

Omladinac is on the brink of relegation in the Super League. To avoid this fate, they must secure a win against Crvena zvezda in the final round while hoping for an Inđija loss to Srem. Srem, featuring Lara Jovović, achieved a decisive victory over Radnički from Belgrade in the 21st round, though our player did not see playing time in that match.

This weekend, Teodora Rakočević played exceptionally well, contributing eight points to Banja Luka’s 3:2 win over Igman in the opening match of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina playoffs.

In the Croatian Super League, Mladost continues to battle with Dinamo for first place as they near the playoffs. They secured their 16th victory of the season, triumphing 3:1 over Brdi. Simona Petranović participated in the fourth set but did not score any points. Mladost is set to host Kaštela in their final round on Saturday, while Dinamo will take on Neba. Both teams are expected to advance to the semifinals.

GEN-I Volley, featuring national team member Nevena Vukčević, finished the second segment of the Slovenian championship on a high note. They secured their third consecutive victory by defeating Šempeter 3:0, solidifying their fifth place in the standings. Consequently, the Nova Gorica team is set to face Koper in the quarterfinals of the playoffs, a team they recently beat 3:2 before losing to them in two earlier encounters this season.

After missing the opportunity to compete for the finals, Mina Dragović’s team Lugoš will conclude their season vying for a position between eighth and fifth place. In the first playoff match, they achieved a 3:0 win against Targovište, putting them in a favorable position heading into the second leg on Saturday.
