Vladimir Gojković, who is currently the head coach of Montenegro’s national water polo team, has been appointed as the new coach of Jadran.

This marks Gojković’s return to Škver, having previously coached Jadran from 2012 to 2019. He takes over from Petr Radanović at the helm of the team.

Prior to Gojković’s arrival, Jadran made efforts to enhance their squad, bringing in players such as Aleksandar Ivović, Vuk Milojević, Đorđe Lazić, and Dimitrije Obradović to Herceg Novi.

Additionally, contracts were renewed for Vasilije Radović, Darko Đurović, and Jovan Vujović.

In the Champions League qualifiers, Jadran will compete in Group A against formidable teams including Jug, Barcelona, Dinamo Bucharest, and Banja Luka.

Should the team not advance past the qualifiers, they will join Group C, where they will face Barceloneta, Marseille, and Vaša.
