Bar-Ancona’s Naval Route Departs on July 1st
In the upcoming summer season, Montenegro will be launching four international maritime routes, as announced by Maritime Minister Filip Radulović.
According to Radulović, the routes from Budva to Dubrovnik, Kotor to Dubrovnik, and Bar to Bari are set to commence, along with the Bar to Ancona line, which will operate from July 1 to September 10.
“We are near finalizing negotiations with Adria Ferries for this year’s season, and Barbaga has reached an agreement on key elements with our Italian partners,” Radulović stated in the announcement.
He mentioned that the formal signing of contracts is anticipated by the end of this week or early next week.
“A navigation line will also be available, with prices determined by the date of purchase and availability. The establishment of these four international maritime lines represents the successful efforts of Resor, which I predict will enhance the maritime network’s priorities,” Radulović commented.
The introduction of these routes, according to Radulović, will not only boost the local economy but will also play a significant role in strengthening the Montenegrin economy.
