Croatia’s OECD Membership Delayed by Decision from Trump Administration

Croatia’s progress in joining the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has been temporarily halted, according to a report from HRT.

The vote regarding membership in the Trade Committee has been postponed indefinitely, a decision made by the administration of US President Donald Trump in light of the ongoing tariff dispute between the United States and the European Union.

So far, Croatia has successfully concluded accession discussions in 19 out of 25 OECD committees, with the aim to finalize all conversations by the end of the year.
