The police in Pljevlja have submitted a criminal report against a local resident, RM (34), on suspicion of blackmail, according to the announcement by the Police Directorate (UP).

According to UP, throughout February, RM repeatedly requested 1,500 euros from an individual, threatening that failure to comply would result in the publication of private communications involving a third party. The victim ultimately paid her a total of 300 euros on two separate occasions.

The complaint has been lodged with the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office (ODT) in Pljevlja.

“Law enforcement officials will persist in their efforts to combat property crimes and safeguard the rights of all citizens affected by these criminal acts,” the statement emphasized.
