Montenegro is preparing to establish direct airline routes with Bulgaria, as suggested by models of air connectivity proposed by the Ministry of Transport, according to eKapija.

During a meeting with Bulgarian Ambassador Stefan Dimitrov, Maja Vukićević emphasized that Montenegro aims to enhance economic ties with Bulgaria, necessitating improved air traffic connections.

The Ministry of Transport highlighted discussions on transportation, as well as support for the advancement of transport and tourism, reviewing key areas for enhancement between Montenegro and Bulgaria.

Vukićević briefed Dimitrov on the current and upcoming infrastructure projects the Ministry of Transport and the Government of Montenegro are planning.

This meeting followed Vukićević’s recent official visit to Bulgaria with Minister Simonide Kordić, serving as a testament to the positive relations between the two nations, as noted by the Montenegrin ministry in their announcement.
