Ivona Pavićević from Budućnost has been named to the ideal team of the first round of the Champions League.
During the season opener, Budućnost faced a tough defeat against Rapid in Bucharest, losing 32:27, with Pavićević netting six goals.
The ideal team for this round includes goalkeeper Renata Aruda (Gloria), center back Aniken Obaidli (Storhamar), left back Heni Rejstad (Esbjerg), right back Dione Houšer (Đer), pivot Albertina Kasoma (Rapid Bucharest), and right winger Asuka Fujita (Gloria).
Renata Aruda, who made a significant impact in the first round, has been awarded the MVP title.
Next, Budućnost will host Brest in Podgorica on Sunday (14).
