The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milojko Spajić, along with his Chief of Staff, Branko Krvavec, has invited the Faculty of Economics at the University of Montenegro to collaborate in organizing a public expert debate focused on the study titled “Analysis of Prices and Operations of Trade Enterprises in Montenegro – Food Products and Non-Alcoholic Beverages Sector.”
Spajić expressed on the social media platform Iks, “We encourage the Faculty of Economics to facilitate an expert discussion regarding the analysis, which concludes that the Europe Now 1 program has contributed to the increase in prices.”
A document urging the Faculty of Economics to arrange this debate was shared by Spajić, which is signed by Krvavac.
Just yesterday, Spajić referred to the analysis conducted by the Faculty of Economics as “shameful.”
In response, the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Economics described Spajić’s comments as “inappropriate and unacceptable,” perceiving them as indicative of a type of helplessness of the institutions under his leadership and for which he is accountable.
