Stefan Mugoša has shown his commitment to the club that turned him into a Korean football legend within the Second League.

Nonetheless, the chapter in the second league might only last a year – Incheon is eager to make a quick return to the top tier, beginning with a 2:0 victory over Geongam, featuring a goal from Mugoša.

The Montenegrin international netted the opener in the 82nd minute, with Kim Seong-Min sealing the victory during injury time.

The top team will earn automatic promotion to the elite league, while teams finishing between second and fifth will compete for a spot through playoffs.

Mugoša recently opted to remain with Incheon despite the club’s first-ever relegation from the first league.

“I wanted to continue my journey here despite multiple offers. Several South Korean clubs expressed interest, but my choice was clear: Incheon is my only focus,” he stated.
