Judges Dragan Babović, Sanja Došljak, and Radovan Vlaović from the Basic Court in Podgorica, along with Basic State Prosecutor Nikola Boričić and President of the Basic Court in Cetinje Branislav Leković, have been appointed as judges of the Higher Court in Podgorica.

The Judicial Council stated that during its meeting on February 25th and 26th, interviews were conducted with five candidates who responded to the public announcement made on December 31st last year for the appointment of six judges to the High Court in Podgorica.

Additionally, a decision was reached to publish a public announcement for the president position of the Basic Court in Cetinje, as well as for the election of one judge of the High Court in Podgorica. An internal announcement will also be issued to fill three judicial roles in the Basic Court in Podgorica through the voluntary transfer of a judge to a court of the same jurisdiction and level or lower, alongside one judicial position in the Minor Offences Court in Podgorica.

Radenko Bošković, formerly a judge of the Minor Offences Court in Podgorica, has been designated as a judge of the Higher Minor Offences Court.

The Judicial Council conducted interviews with candidates who applied for the public advertisement from December 16 last year for the placement of one judge of the Higher Misdemeanor Court. This included Nada Bjeković, the President of the Misdemeanor Court in Podgorica, alongside three judges from that court: Radenko Bošković, Slavica Jovović, and Ana Radulović.

According to the final proposal for evaluations from the Judicial and State Prosecutor’s Office Training Center, during the theoretical and practical components of initial training for selected candidates for judges of basic courts in the central and southern regions, the Council assessed the performance of Jelena Đurović, Borislav Ivanović, Ina Hrković, Vladimir Piper, Nemanja Adamović, Vukica Jakšić, Ana Žujović, Zorana Dragović, and Nina Bulajić.

The Council also adopted the Report on the execution of budget funds for the spending unit “Judicial Council” for 2024, prepared by the Finance and Accounting Service of the Secretariat of the Judicial Council. This report will be included in the Annual Report concerning the work of the Judicial Council and the state of the judiciary over the past year.
