The organization Alternative Montenegro has initiated a boycott of two retail chains, Idea and Aroma, effective Monday, February 24. This decision follows a poll conducted on their Facebook page.

“The survey has concluded, allowing everyone to voice their opinions and emphasize the importance of social responsibility among retail enterprises. Regrettably, representatives from the surveyed retail chain owners did not respond, even though they had a unique chance to hear the citizens’ voices and show accountability to the community. Consequently, the boycott of Idea and Aroma will commence on Monday, February 24,” stated the announcement.

They added that the boycott may become prolonged if no tangible results or changes materialize.

“We will determine our next actions solely in line with the citizens’ will. We encourage all fellow citizens to join us and demonstrate the strength of unity,” they remarked.
