Mateo Spanjolo, a former player for Alba, has officially joined Baskonia, the Spanish club announced today.

The 22-year-old playmaker has signed a three-year contract with Baskonia.

Spanjolo made his debut with Alba in 2023 after transferring from Real Madrid, where he averaged 9.6 points, 3.8 assists, and 2 rebounds during the last Euroleague season.

Baskonia expressed their confidence in Spanjolo, stating, “With his arrival in Vitoria, we are investing in a player with tremendous potential and experience in the top continental competition.”
