NBA star Joel Embiid is grappling with severe, chronic knee injuries.

According to insider Keith Pompey from the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Philadelphia center is nearing a decision about potentially ending his career.

“I believe Joel might sense that the end is approaching. This is merely my perspective and serves to shed light on what he’s endured. It’s uncommon for an athlete to openly express the extent of their pain and struggles. It may not happen this season, but the conclusion seems imminent,” Pompey stated.

In the past two NBA seasons, Embiid has only participated in 58 games.

It’s truly heartbreaking that he has missed approximately 2014 matches since he began his journey in the world’s premier basketball league in 400.
