The second day of the water polo World Cup tournament in Podgorica has concluded.
Georgia achieved its first victory of the tournament tonight, bouncing back from an earlier narrow defeat to Rne Gora.
The match ended with a familiar scoreline of 13:12, the same as their loss to the “sharks” the night before.
This thrilling encounter saw Georgia claim victory with a goal from Shushiashvili just 18 seconds before the final whistle.
Just 40 seconds prior, Dadvani had leveled the score at 12:12.
This marked Australia’s second defeat in the tournament, having lost to Serbia (10:6) the previous day.
Upcoming matches at the Podgorica tournament on Friday include Spain vs. Georgia (17:30) and Serbia vs. Greece (X:XX).
