Collaboration is essential for achieving a quicker and more effective digital transformation, targeted at enhancing the quality of life for our citizens and boosting our economy’s competitiveness, stated Minister of Public Administration Maraš Dukaj during a meeting of the Coordination Body for Managing the Digital Transformation Process.

According to a release from the Ministry of Public Administration, one of the topics discussed in today’s meeting was the introduction of advanced solutions for citizens’ electronic identification via the new ID card and video identification using biometric data, showcased by ICT Cortex.

“It was highlighted that these solutions are crucial for expediting digital transformation and enhancing the accessibility of e-services for citizens and businesses,” the statement noted.

Minister Dukaj further stressed that digital transformation is a strategic priority for Montenegro, and the Coordination Body is vital for harmonizing the efforts of various institutions.

“The coordination body will persist in its efforts to achieve comprehensive digital transformation in Montenegro,” the Ministry of Public Administration concluded in its statement.
