Traffic Halted at Tivat Airport Following Bomb Threat
The Tivat airport has suspended operations following a report of a bomb being allegedly placed on an Air Serbia plane that had just arrived from Belgrade.
Emergency protocols have been activated; the aircraft has been moved to a secure area, passengers have been evacuated, and a thorough inspection of the plane is currently in progress.
This incident involves an Air Serbia ATR-72 (YU-ALY) aircraft that landed in Tivat at approximately 18:10 p.m.
As a result of this emergency, several flights scheduled for Tivat have been redirected to nearby airports, including a small business jet from Paris to Podgorica and a regular commercial flight from the Scandinavian airline SAS that was diverted to Dubrovnik.
