Young Cadets Allowed Eight Goals in Two Matches in Ohrid
The Montenegro U19 national team faced a setback in their second friendly match against North Macedonia.
The home side triumphed with a score of 5-0 at the Biljanini Izvori stadium in Ohrid, highlighted by four goals from Medina Emini, along with a single goal from Stefan Ristić.
“While we were aware of the strong opponent we were up against, we still had hopes of performing well. Unfortunately, the players selected for this two-match series did not meet the required level, and we found ourselves unable to match the challenge. Moreover, we conceded each goal due to individual errors that the host team capitalized on. These games served not only as matches but also as an opportunity to assess some new foreign players and a few younger talents,” commented coach Vladan Savić.
The players who conceded the five goals were Ognjen Ursa, Pavle Jovović, Damjan Bešović, Luka Kuč (substituted by Andrija Novović in the 74th minute), Amar Suljević (substituted by Petar Marsenić at halftime), Miloš Laković (substituted by Lazar Grbović in the 65th minute), Alden Bajramović (substituted by Uroš Samardžić at halftime), Vuk Kaljević (substituted by Slavko Konatar at halftime), Filip Horke (substituted by Danilo Vuković at halftime), Luka Vlahović (substituted by Nikola Milačić in the 65th minute), and Lazar Bulatović.
