In this match, Lithuania played without Jonas Valanciunas, with Margiris Normantas leading the score with 15 points. Rokas Jokubaitis contributed 13 points, along with seven assists and six rebounds.

For Turkey, Cedi Osman was the top performer with 17 points, while Furkan Korkmaz closely followed with 15. Notably, Shane Larkin was unavailable for the match.

Alperen Şengün, Turkey’s star player, was limited to just seven minutes on the court. Reports from Basket News indicate potential disagreements between him and coach Ergin Ataman.

Alongside Montenegro, Lithuania is scheduled to compete against Germany, Finland, Sweden, and Great Britain at EuroBasket.

Turkey finds itself in Group A, facing off against Latvia, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Portugal, and Estonia.

The European Championship will take place from August 27 to September 14 across Latvia, Finland, Poland, and Cyprus.
