The upcoming season, which marks the 25th year of the ABA League, will kick off on October 3rd. Budućnost Voli’s basketball team will face Spartak from Subotica in their opening match two days later.

Another Montenegrin team, SC Derbi, will host Borac from Čačak in their initial game, scheduled for October 4th.

SC Derbi is placed in Group A alongside Partizan, Dubai, Cluj, Igokea, FMP, Borac Čačak, Split, and Krka.

Buducnost competes in Group B, which also features Red Star Belgrade, Cedevita Olimpija, Spartak, Bosna, Mega, Zadar, Ilirija, and Vienna.

The top four teams from each group will advance to the top eight phase, while the others will proceed to the play-offs.

The Montenegrin champion will play host in the second round, followed by a visit from Cedevita-Olimpija, coached by Zvezdan Mitrović, to Podgorica.

The “Blues” are set to visit Red Star Belgrade in the sixth round, with their match in Podgorica scheduled for February 18, 2026, as part of round 12.

SC Derbi will face Partizan in the eighth round on November 23rd, with the “black and whites” expected to arrive in Podgorica on January 11th of the following year.
