Jovanović and Alabar Collaborate to Outline Specific Projects and Cooperation Strategies

The Mayor of Budva, Nikola Jovanović, along with the President of the Budva Municipal Assembly, Petar Odžić, and their team, hosted an official reception for Mohamed Alabar, the founder of Emaar Properties & Eagle Hills, a leading international investor in real estate and tourism. This information was released by the Mayor’s office.
The discussions centered on tourism development and infrastructure projects, as well as potential cooperation in urban development and public-private partnerships.
Mayor Jovanović expressed his pleasure at hosting Mohamed Alabar, highlighting that Budva, a tourist hub responsible for half of Montenegro’s tourism, is a significant investment location in the Mediterranean.
He noted this is a vital opportunity to enhance ties between Montenegro and the United Arab Emirates and that Budva perceives investments as avenues to improve tourism, elevate citizens’ quality of life, and increase visitor value. He asserted that serious international partnerships and investments are essential for Montenegro’s tourism sector to develop competitively.
Jovanović pointed out that the meeting with Alabar was an opportunity to explore various investment prospects in Budva and conveyed optimism that collaborative efforts with investors and government bodies would lead to successful projects benefiting the city. He expressed confidence that Budva is poised to embrace and execute significant investments, which are crucial for its continued prosperity and as a premier tourist destination.
